Swatches:Femme Couture Mineral Effects eyeshadows

Hey guys! Sorry I missed 2 blogs! :( I'll try to catchup! But in the meantime, here are swatches of these mineral eyeshadows. They are $4.99-$5.99 at Sally Beauty Supply. They won't last long if you don't have primer, but they are very pigmented!

I have 11/12 of the shades (I lost one :( )

Unfortunately this one stained my skin and left the area where the shadow was blotchy and brown

Almost like cocoa powder. It also stains blotchy.

Vaseline lip therapy vs Smith's Rosebud salve

I decided to do a "vs" video today. This one is drugstore vs high end/sephora. I recently purchased the Vaseline lip therapy and I realized both products are Petrolium based and have a 'light rose scent' also a slight pink tint. So I thought, before I open my Vaseline balm, I should review them and do a first Impression on the Vaseline one. I also recently got the china glaze sunsational cremes In the mail so I'm doing my first nail swatch thing! So enough talking, let's start!

Smith's Rosebud Lip Salve,$6, Sephora

Scent: light and rosey, but I love sweet rose scents.

Amount:.8oz. Not bad for $6. You get a better deal by .05 of an ounce if you do the math 

Obviously, this is used. But the Vaseline one isn't, and I'm kinda nervous trying it🙊 

Vaseline lip therapy® rosy lips,$1.89 

Scent:different, more subtle, rose scent. Still love it. 

Amount:.25 oz. (you get a better deal if you buy the salve)

The tint is definately darker. Here's a swatch next to each other.

Left is Smiths, right is Vaseline.

Love the color of Vaseline's, but rosebud is the winner for moisturizing properties. The Vaseline one is cute for on the go, but rosebud will remain my favorite.

Review and Swatches-Lime Crime Eyeliners

Hey everyone! This is my first official makeup post! Feel free to ask any questions in the comment section :)

So You can purchase these eyeliners from www.limecrime.com , or on amazon which will save you more money considering the shipping is cheaper if you want to buy one of them. (LC shipping is $5.99 and free over orders $50+) 

I own 4 out of 8 colors and I've had them for almost a month now so I think I can get a pretty solid review.

The packaging for me is a 10/10 because it's so cute, and they recently changed it to this b/w to make the liner color pop.

Brush quality 8.5/10 I have heard that the brushes have frayed on these fast, but that's not the case for me. Why I rated it a 8.5 is because of the thickness of the brush so you can't get a good, thin line due to the thick bristles. They are extremely soft,though.

Staying power 10/10 they last all day for me and my eyes tend to water ALOT throughout the day. 

Next, the swatches.

"Blue Milk"

My favorite,It appears so pale and unvivid in pictures in the bottle, but once you apply it, it oxidizes and is the perfect neon bright cyan blue that I love. This is my all time favorite and I planned to only purchase this one and Citruese  from the collection.

Excuse my makeup on my eyelash, but this is it with no primer, no mascara on, just plain liner. I kinda did the cat eye a little wobbly, though. 1000/10 for pigmentation.

"Citreuse"

Another one of my faves, a vibrant, neon green.

Btw, these remove so easily and they don't tug on eyes at all. They remove flawlessly with just water.

"Lunar Sea"

Described as a 'opaque white'

I got a little in my eye in this photo, sorry if it looks funny!

"Orchidaceous"

This one has a strong, gold shimmer.

The shimmer doesn't show up on the eyes or in pictures, though.

These eyeliners are $14.00 USD and I paid $1 shipping on an amazon seller by the name of "Dusk to Dawn beauty LLC" they have the fastest shipping. Love them. If your gonna order these on amazon ,order them from that seller.

Intro to my Blog!!

Hello Everyone!!


Due to boredom in the Summer, I decided to start a blog! I will probably post about once a week/every 2 weeks. I'm still getting used to this blog thing, but i wanted to check it out! I will be doing blogs about dupes, new beauty products, etc!! I planned a schedule convenient for me to post so I won't be a ghost blogger! I will try to make a blog about a 'dupe' for a beauty product every month!!

Every month I will attempt to do a Swatch & Review thing either with a brand or a certain product. I also wanted to do a "Does This Thing Work?"/Is it worth the Hype? thing  because I thought it would be cool to share if a certain product has a lasting time  or 'No Flake' policy like it claims. I really wanted to do a review & swatches of a certain brand in I have alot of products. I also wanted to do a either Highend vs Highend product or Drugstore vs Drugstore or Drugstore vs. Highend because i've seen alot of similar drugstore & highend products like the balm stains or the cushion foundations. I will also be doing first impressions, Hauls, and possibly a blog about piercings because i'm thinking about getting my nose pierced.
